Well, there is only one long-distance bus that can take you to Nantong. The ticket fare is not that cheap because of the long distance. And it will take a lot of time on the way.

So you are suggested to take the direct train. The departure time is 19:50 at TJ West Train Station. And it takes around 13 hours on the way. The ticket fare of soft sleeper is CNY427.5 and hard sleeper is CNY279.5.
