Australians applying for Chinese visa from Turkey

Hello,
My fiance and I are travelling for a few months, and are wondering if it is possible to apply whilst in Turkey? Also, how many months before we arrive can we apply?

Emma, you are required to provide your valid residence document, such as resident permit for employment and study and valid visa for Turkey (original and copy versions). Usually, you can apply around a month ahead of your trip to China.

Hi Edison,

Thanks for replying. We won't be living in Turkey, only travelling through. We will be there for a few weeks, and want to use it as a base to apply for a fewentry permits, as it will be too early for us to apply from the UK, where we are both currently residents. Will this be possible if we are not residents of Turkey?

Yes, it's possible. You can provide the valid entry permits for Turkey.
