which train station to board in hangzhou to shanghai?

My family are travelling to hangzhou in feb 13 2015 and will be leaving to shanghai on the 18th feb 2015. i will be very grateful if some nice souls can assist me in the below question :-1) Which station to board bullet train to SH?2) Which station should i stop in SH if my hotel is at Xintiandi3) As it is so near the Chinese new year, should i prebook the train? how do i book?Many thanks in advance.

1. You can take bullet train at HZ East Railway Station.2. You can take a train, and get off at Shanghai South Railway Station. After arriving, take subway line 1 at the station to South Huangbei Road Station, Exit 3. Then walk to the destination directly.3. Yes, you are suggested to book the ticket in advance.
