About:Hangzhou Travel

Which train station to board in Hangzhou to Shanghai?

My family are travelling to hangzhou in feb 13 2015 and will be leaving to shanghai on the 18th feb 2015. i will be very grateful if some nice souls can assist me in the below question :-
1) Which station to board bullet train to SH?
2) Which station should i stop in SH if my hotel is at Xintiandi
3) As it is so near the Chinese new year, should i prebook the train? how do i book?

1. You can take bullet train at HZ East Railway Station.
2. You can take a train, and get off at Shanghai South Railway Station. After arriving, take subway line 1 at the station to South Huangbei Road Station, Exit 3. Then walk to the destination directly.
