Traveling to Beijing and Xi'an in early March free wifi in the hotels

but I also have a Telstra ELITE dongle will this allow me to pick up the internet?

GP, what is Telstra Elite used for? Is it a tool that change cable internet signal into wifi signal?

A Telstra ELITE is a dongle that is connected via an USB and is prepaid this is how I pick up google

GP, you can easily insert it into your laptop and then start to surf on the internet? I guess that their might be a phone sim card which enables internet connection, right? If so, you can use it to have access to internet in China. But I do think you should contact your telecom provider how they charge international internet service. If the cost is too high, I think you should not use it in China.
