Alyssa, the wall we see today were mainly built during the Ming Dynasty. It starts from Jiayuguan Pass in the west and ends at Jiayuguan Pass in the east. The territory of the Ming Empire was actually bigger than Qin and Han Empires. The wall actually passes by seven provinces including Hebei, Beijing, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and Gansu.
