About:Chinese Embassy in Georgia

we are UK citizens driving to china from the UK, can we apply in Georgia for a Chinese visa ?

Suzanne, I would suggest you apply from the CVASC in HK. But you can still try to apply in Georgia if you really want to. Then your legal stay proof in Georgia is required, such as our visa, resident permit for employment and study.

HK? Do you mean Hong kong? We are not going to HK Also we will only be visiting Georgia as a tourist and driving through so we wanted to know if we could apply there while en route?

My mistake. It should be UK. I persnally think you should apply from the CVASC in UK rather than Chinese embassy in Georgia. You have higher chance in UK rather than in Georgia. Usually, the embassy requires the applicants like you to provide your legal stay proof, such as employment or study permit or your valid visa.
