About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

How complicated is it to make both the Z visa and then the work permit?

How complicated is it to make both the Z type and then the work permit?
Apparently you need a Work license and letter of Chinese Invitation for the Z type.
But the work permit sounds complicated? Anyone know exactly what is needed and how it should be applied for?
I am a model agent and want to sort this out for one of our Models, who will be in China for 6 months from March 3. So I need to work out this stuff as soon as possible and the chinese agency doesn't have too much information on this unfortunately.

Henri, I think you referred to work permit and employment certificate. The work permit is required for applying a Z type. After you acquire the Z type, you need to change it to a temporary resident permit. Before you do this, you need to change your work permit to employment certificate.

Usually, Chinese employers can help their foreign employees to apply for the work permits and employment certificates. If you are not familiar with this, you'd better find an agency to help you with it. They are professional and powerful.
