Double barreled name allowed for child in Botswana law

Our child was born in Hong Kong last year. The father is of Botswana, the mother of German citizenship. We both carry our respective surnames, as prior to marriage, but would like to give the child a double barreled last name - composed of mother and fathers surname.
Is this allowed according to the Botswana naming law?

His father is from Botswana. Doesn't he know whether it is allowed to do this? If not, please ask him to consult with the related department in Botswana.
