About:China Private Visit Visa

Does a S1 visa allow multiple entries into China?

My husband is in the process of getting a Z type. Since I will be accompanying him to China, I was informed I should be a S1 type. I would like to know if I can go in and out of the country with a S1 type or if it is only a single entry type?
Thanks.

After you enter China, it's required that you apply for a resident permit within 30 days with the S1 type. Then you can go in and out of the country for multiple times without the need for applying for other entry permits.
