want to take my wife with me

Question

I am a foreign teacher working in china and am currently in the philippines for the winter holidays. I've just gotten married last January and will be going back to china on March 6. I want to take my wife back with me to china and would like for her to live with me there. I spoke with the school I'm working in and they agreed that they would help me get her work in my school as a foreign expert as well as long as I'm able to take her with me when I come back. I have our marriage certificate and she already has her bank statement ready if the need arises. What other kind of preparation do I need to do to make sure we go to china together? I apologize if I may come out as brash, it's just that I'm nervous and don't want her visa to get rejected. Please help. Thank you!

Jan, if she wants to work in China, she has to apply for the work Z type. You should first ask your school to help her to get he work permit. Then take her passport, a photocopy of the passport's data page, a fully application form affixed with her recent bareheaded photo, the original and photocopy of the work permit, and the bank statement to the embassy and submit the application.
