Do I qualify for 72 hr free visa to tour around Beijing?

arrive in Beijing at 5.30am on 17 April and depart at 1.40 pm on 20 April.

Well, as far as I know, the 72 hours free visa goes into effect from the next day's 00:00. But you are still suggested to confirm the time with immigration inspection. You can also consult this problem by phone. Beijing Airport Immigration Inspection at 0086-10-56095400.
