About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

6 hours in Guangzhou

on my way to thailand from the EU, i only have 6 hours in guangzhou. nevertheless, i don't wanna waste my time at the airport. considered i should be present at the airport 1 hour prior to the departure and it'd take around 1 hour to the centre, it's still 3 hours to have fun in guangzhou, enjoy local food and sights.
i guess it's still necessary to apply for the 24-hrs-visa, right? but i'm afraid the officers will reject my request saying 6 hours is too short. Do you have any experience with such a short visit?

It's OK. You can apply for the 72 hour free transit through your airline in advance.
