going to chengdu, china

Question

Hello, What do I need to get to Chengdu China, I'm from Philippines. As what I have read, i can apply a tourist visa for mainland china here in hongkong and now that I'm here in HK, the chinese consulate didn't accept my application cause i would need to get it from my home country. Either way - I'm just travelling to see my best friend which is swedish in Chengdu as he has given me his address.. What can you advise on this? I'm currently in Hong Kong..

As the consulate does not accept your application, you can find a travel agency for help and try to get the entry permit through it.
