Unmarried partner - visa options

I signed a 1.5 year employment contract in Shenzhen. I would like to take my unmarried partner with me. What are her options to stay long-term with me: tourist entry permits, regular border crossings to Hong Kong.. ? What documents (e.g. invitation letter) can I provide to support her application?

As you are not married, she can only apply for the tourist L type. You just need to provide her an invitation letter.

if your China empolyer can help to issue the documents and say your friend will also work for them, then your friend can ask for z type.

there are some Chinese Schools can offer X type for your friend. but your friend need to be present at the school. then your friend can stay long with you.

otherwise the L type, duration is only 30 days.
