Lieza, you can visit mainland China if you have a valid single entry one. I don't know where exactly you will go to. If possible, you can fly from HK to your destination city. Or you can go through the Luohu Border to reach Shenzhen. Then you can take train or flight to your destination.

Lieza, perhaps you may try to apply for the five-day special VOA for Shenzhen at the border. If you are granted with one, then you can stay within Shenzhen for five days. However, I can't guarantee that you can get it for sure. If you stay longer than five days, I think you should apply for a L type in advance. And you may not apply for the L type in HK if you don't have the HK resident status. So you have two options: go back to Philippines to apply for a L type or you may find an agency in HK to help you with the L type. Of course, you need to pay a service charge.
