If you have already got a job in HK, your employer and you should send the required documents to the Immigration Department. Documents you need to prepare are: an application form (ID 1001A), your recent photograph, a photocopy of your passport, a photocopy of proof of academic qualifications and relevant working experience, and a photocopy of your medical report. Your employer should submit an application form (ID 1001B), four original copies of the standard employment contract (LD 294) signed between the employer and you, a photocopy of the approval-in-principle letter issued by the Labour Department.
