About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

Z Visa issue...

is it true that the Bureau in china cannot give a Z type to a non-native english speaker if teaching in China. specifically in Dongguan.

Anyone can answer this?
that is our problem now. what other entry permit i need to obtain for me to enter china if we can't solve this z type issue

I have never seen such information before. Anyway, you can confim the issue with the Dongguan Public Security Organ to confirm it. Its number is 0769-22480057 or 0769-22466891. If you have already got the job, just apply for the Z type. If your application for the Z type is denied, you can apply for the tourist type entry permit or other types to enter China, but you can't work within mainland.

I got a Z type before. but with my new employer, they don't want to get a new visa. i'm here in the Philippines now. is it possible to call them? i don't know how to speak chinese.

My employer told me if i can come to china using other types of entry permit. it is better for us to go to the bureau to ask for the z type. then i will go home again. but the issue still bothers me..
even we are not native english speakers. we can assure that filipinos are good english speaker.

what i mean. the dongguan bureau will not give a z type to my new employer coz of that issue.. what is the best thing to do?

Maybe you can just take your employer's advice, enter China on other types of entry permits and then change it to the Z type at local bureau. However, it's very likely that you will be denied.
