About:Marriage Registration in China

Can we get married when I hold a student visa?

I'm Vietnamese and I'm going to China to study a 6-month Chinese course, my fiance is Chinese and we would like to get married after the course is done. Can we register our marriage while I still hold a student X type? If not, can I extend it and change to L type in China and get married to my fiance?

Yes, I think so. If you can provide the materials such as single-status certificate, passport, and your fiance's ID card, houshold registration book, and marriage status certificate, you can register it in local civil affairs office.
