Airline cabin bags on high speed trains

We are just beginning to plan a trip to China which includes several high-speed trips(Shanghai-Beijing, Beijing Xian, Nanjing-Shanghai) and are hoping to use airline cabin bags. The official size limit (BA) is 56x45x25 cm which should fit comfortably into the 45-50 cm wide by 50-60 cm high overhead racks. But you go on to say that the luggage size should not exceed 60x35x35 cm which is much smaller than our cabin bags. Will they fit?

For the railway ride, it is not as strict as the airline. You can board with your bags. If the rack is not fit the size, you can arrange the large sized ones at the connection of 2 carriages.
