About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

Tourist Visa to Z type?

Hi there,
I am heading to China on a 30 day L type, while I am there, I intend on landing a job teaching English. If I get a job teaching English, can I apply for a Z type /Work Permit while in China? Or do I have to go back to my country of citizenship (Australia).

Hi, it's better if u find a work opportunity before to come it's more easy for the process, and u can find a job by INTERNET

Thanks, but it still doesn't answer my question. I do appreciate your response, but all I need to know is if I can switch from Tourist to Work visa while over there if I get a job?

Guy, some agencies that those who hold L type must exit mainland China to apply for a Z if they find a job. But I think you may visit local entry and exit management bureau to confirm this when you arrive.
