can my familly live with me in china?

Question

I have Chinese residence permit. The time duration is 08 January 2015 to 05 Jul 2015. If my immidiate familly members come to China on February  using S1 type, Can they live with me long time period after apply residence permit?  One of my friend told me, My residance permit Should be old more than Six month for apply rsidence pemit to my famlly. Is it true?  Thanks

Suneth, I didn't hear that six months' validity was required. You may confirm this with local entry and exit management bureau before you ask your families to apply for the S1 type. Generally speaking, they can stay unil July 5, 2015 when your resident permit expires. However, the officers at local entry and exit management bureau has the final say on the duration of stay for your families' S1.
