Lolit, duration of stay for a single entry one is usually 30 days. If your children stay for 45 days, then they need to apply for a double-entry ones or just extend the L type after they come. In order to apply for the L type, passport, filled application form, recent passport photo, your invitation letter and copies of your legal visa or resident permit are required. By the way, I am not sure if juveniles from your country are allowed to travel abroad without being accompanied by their parents. If there is no specific requirement, then you may save some troubles. However, your younger child must ask someone to fill the form on her behalf because she is too young.
