About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

apply for a visa to china from US as a swedish citizent?

My daughter is Swedish. She is planing a trip to China and we live in the US. Can she apply for it from US. She has been to china several times before but not on her present passoport.

Yes, she can apply for an L type at the embassy or consulate in the US. The following documents are needed for the application: her passport, a phtocopy of the passport's data page, a completed application form affixed with her recently-taken bareheaded photo, the original and photocopy of her residence card in the US, and round-trip tickets and hotel room reservations. She can also provide the copies of her previous entry permits for China, which may make her application more easier.
