About:Chinese Consulates in South Korea

Dutch citizen living in Korea

Hello,
I would like to travel to China this summer. Do I need an invitation letter to apply for a tourist visa? I will stay no longer than one week in China and then move on to Mongolia. And do I need my ARC card and/or my own pasport (dutch) to apply for it?
Thanks

It's not necessary for you to provide the invitation letter if you can submit the round-trip tickets and hotel room reservations. Both your passport and ARC will be required for the application.

You can either provide the itinerary proof or the invitation letter. They are both OK. The itinerary proof means your round-trip tickets, hotel reservations, travel plans, etc.
