To apply for the M type, prepare the following documents:
1. a valid passport and a photocopy of its data page
2. a filled application form affixed with a recent taken bareheaded photo
3. documents about commericial activities or invitation letter from a trade fair or trade partner in China
4. personal or company's written statement
5. other documents required by the Embassy or Consulate-General
