About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

How long it takes to get the working visa since I apply and send all the doc required?

Hey,
How long it takes to get the Z type since I apply and send all the doc required? Do they keep my passport or I can go somewhere for Chinese New Year and pick up the Z type once I get back?

Normally the process takes four working days. The embassy will keep your passport during the application. Howver, you said you wanted to go somewhere for Chinese New Year, so I get a little bit confusesd. Are you in China now? If you are applying for the Z type in China, the time maybe longer.

Yes, I am in China now and since Chinese New Year is coming, I wanted to know whether I have enough time now to apply and get the visa on time in order to pick up my passport on time and be available for traveling. Also you mentioned that it takes longer if apply from China so could you please let me know how is that long?

Raul, Chinese New Year Holiday starts from Feb. 18. I think you have enough time to apply for the Z type.
