About:China Tourist Visa

Other than my passport and invitation letter, what documents do I need to bring?

I am visiting a friend for about two weeks to Guangzhou, China from New York . Where would I apply in person?

In addition to your passport and the invitation letter, you should bring the filled applciation form affixed with a recently-taken photo and a photocopy of the info page of your passport. You should go to the consulate-general in New York to submit the application.
