Nigerian student in Hong Kong for one day visit

I am a Nigerian student studying in one of HK's university. I have Hong Kong ID card and a valid Nigerian passport. I have no problem applying for VISA but the only issue I have is that I just want to go for one day visit (return to HK on the same day), probably with some colleagues/friends (they all enjoy free entry). Please can someone answer the following questions for me:
Required Documents (I lifted the list from the site retaining their numbering on the main list for quick reference)

4. Document of transportation to Macao and accommodation arrangement (e.g. round-trip air ticket and hotel room reservation receipts, etc.)
We will take the boat from HK to Macao, which round-trip air ticket do I present?
We are going to return to HK on the same day, what do I do about hotel room reservation as I don't need them?

6. Valid entry permit or residence visa/permit of other countries or regions (if any);
I believe my HK entry permit would suffice for this. Please correct me if I am wrong.

8. Proof of purpose of visit, such as:
Leisure – Tour receipt, itinerary, etc.;...
How can I get this? How do I prove that I'm going there to take just visit the casinos, St. Peter's cathedral, and some other nice places and return on the same day?

I will be happy if someone can take time to answer these questions for me.

Thank you.

Hi Joseph!

1. As your situation is special, I think you don't need to present the air ticktets. The round-trip ship ticktets will work. I think it can be seen clearly from your tickets that you won't stay overnight in Macao, so the hotel room reservation may not be required.

2. Both your Hong Kong entry permit or HK ID card can be used for the application.

3. Maybe you can book the tickets for the tourist attratictions and show them to the consular office.

Thank you for your reply, June. After reading your reply, I did a quick internet search and came across the open top bus ride tourist service. This costs exactly 20 USD. Okay, say I pay for it in order to use the ticket to secure a visa, would it be illegal not to ride the bus when I get to Macao? As I mentioned in my question, I would be going with friends and we have places to visit.
About the boat ticket, I just learnt I can book online too. Thanks for your help.

You are welcome. It's ok for you to change the itinerary after your arrival.
