Double or multiple entry, mainland China and island of Sanya?

I am visiting Beijing Fri 27th March for 10 nights during which time I will visit the island of Sanya for about 6 nights. Does this qualify for multiple entry visa? I will not know exact dates of Sanya till later.

You don't need the double entry visa, a single-entry type will be enough for your trip.
