How can a Malaysian holding a Malaysian Passport apply for a China Visa in Manila ?

I do not have any tentative travel dates to China yet. I'm thinking to pre apply for the 1 year Multiple entry type. The travel dates are tentative, Feb (during CNY) and May (invited by friends go over for a personal visit).

Do you hold the valid residence permit, work permit, or study permit for the Philippines? If not, you can't apply it in the Philippines. By the way, if you are travelling to China for the first time, it will be hard to get the one year multiple entry. I suggest you apply for the half year multiple entry type or apply for the single entry type twice.
