today i got a three month visa M with 2 entries, 30 days after entry.

i intend to stay more in China. Is it possible to change this visa? How much does it cost ? Do i have to enter China before changing visa or i can do it from my country?

Klau, you can apply for a multiple-entry one. However, your current one will be invalid if you are granted with a new one. And it's possible that you might fail to get a multiple one too. In my opinion, you may use your current M type to enter China. Before your second entry one expires, you can go to local entry and exit management bureau to extend it.

I think so. You cannot extend or exchange the current one at present in the embassy but to reapply for a new one. Therefore, the best solution would be extending it after you enter China.

It costs CNY 160 to extend it.
