Transit in Shanghai for 11 hours

I am flying from Singapore to Shanghai, having a stopover transit for 11 hours and then will take a flight from Shanghai to Seoul. Would I be able to apply for 72 hours free transit? And can I leave the airport to walk around?

You can apply for the 72 hour free transit. To leave the airport, you should apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport.
