About:Embassy & Consulate of Egypt in China

I am going Italy via Egypt. I have short stay/one night in Egypt, is there need for transit visa?

I am going to Italy through Egypt Airline, and have a stay in Egypt/one night to take aother flight for Italy. Is there any need for transit type of Egypt to me?

I heard that only if your transit duration in Egypt is not more than 12 hours, you are not required one, but I suggest you confirm it with the Egyptian embassy in Beijing.
