Airport Express Octopus

Does the Airport Express Travel Pass act as an ordinary Octopus card allowing unlimited travel on trains, buses and the Star Ferry or is it restricted to use on just the Airport Express train and other selected train/metro lines?

It contains one or two single journey (S) on airport express and unlimited rides on MTR for 3 consecutive days (starting on the time point you enter the MTR station).
