About:China Transit Visa

Transit via Shanghai

I am currently staying in Shanghai with a X1 visa, valid until January 31st, 2015. I am planning to go out of China in mid-January and return to Shanghai on February 11th before catching my flight back to France on February 13th. Is it sure that I can be granted a 72-hour transit period or should I apply for a transit visa ?
Thanks for your help.
Marie
