About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Okinawa to Hong Kong to Narita

I have a United States passport and want to visit Hong Kong from Okinawa for 2 days without the hassle of getting a visa. Would this work as long as I stay within the 72 hour limit?

Ryan, in fact, Hong Kong is 90-day entry-free for US passport holders, so you can stay there for less than 90 days without the entry permit.
