About:China Student Visa

Should I apply for a student visa or a family visit?

I am currently a high school student studying in an international school in China. I am turning 18 in a few month. My parents are both working here, one of them is Chinese.

My school will not help me with the application, because my parents do not work in the same city.
Thank you for your help!

In your situation, you should apply for a X1 type because you study in China. The required documents are your passport, completed application form, a recent passport photo, admission letter and JW202 form from your school. After you arrive, you should change your X1 type into a temporary resident permit immediately within 30 days.
