About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Asked by Nguyen from Vietnam. Please let me know if I qualify for 24-hour free transit policy

Hi, I hold a Vietnamese passport. I will fly from Brisbane, Australia to Hochiminh city, Vietnam and I will transit at Hong Kong airport. Here are details of my flight, please help me to check if I need to apply for transit visa or not:
-Wed 21/01/2015 Qantas Airways QF 0097
Economy 10:50 Brisbane Int.
Terminal I 17:50 Hong Kong Int.
- Wed 21/01/2015 Cathay Pacific Airways CX 0771
Economy 22:25 Hong Kong Int.
Terminal 1 00:05 Ho Chi Minh City

Sorry to tell you that you have to apply for a transit type for Hong Kong. You can either go to the Chinese embassy to submit the application or get contact with the Hong Kong Immigration Department and send the required documents by post: the application form (ID 1003A), your recent photo affixed on page 1 of the form, photocopy of your passport, photocopy of your financial standing proof (bank statements, saving accounts passbooks, tax receipts, etc.) , and photocopy of your transportation arrangement proof (flight tickets).
