Whats's the procedure for Guang Zhou (China) to enter Thailand

I'm from Singapore and will be going to Bangkok with my friend from Guang Zhou (China) for holiday . She does have a newly valid passport and I will like to ask what's the procedure to enter Thailand? We check around and there's a mix of few answers confusing us below:

1) She can apply for the Visa once she reaches Thailand usually without any issues.

2) The airport official at Baiyun Airport may not clear her immigration.

What do we have to take note of? Is there any officials we can check from China side?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Shino, as far as I know, she can apply for the 15-day VOA at 31 designated ports in Thailand upon her arrival there. Of couse she needs to prepare the documents required for the VOA application, including her passport with a validity of at least six moths, 10000 Thai Baht or the other cashes of equivalent value, and roundtrip tickets within 15 days. If your stay in Thailand is longger, she will need a toursit type. You can go to the website of Thai embassy in China for further information.
