About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

is issue date same day as first entry date

I submitted a business visa with expected first entry date of 01-19-2015. My flight will enter China on 01-18-2015 - will this be a problem?

The validity of the entry permit starts from the date of issue, so you won't face problems caused by the early arrival.

Hey, your validity starts from the issue date. For example, if it was issued on Jan.5 and yours is valid for 30 days. Then it will expire on Feb.4. It's ok for you to enter China before it expires, that is Feb.4.
