Dalian to Bangkok?

Any advice? I want to find a way to get to Bangkok from Dalian overland. The only thing I can think of is to get a train to Beijing, and from there go to Hanoi and somehow find my way overland to BKK. Do you have any suggestions? thanks very much.

Beijing is a good way. But T5 from Beijing to Hanoi do not runs everyday, only available on Monday and Friday. If the date is not suitable, may be you can think about the route: Dalian to Beijing and then to Nanning and then to Hanoi. The T8701 runs everyday. You can take transfer to Bangkok.

The duration for T5 is about 40 to 41 hours and for T8701 it would be 11 to 12 hours. You can click the train number on this page for more details.
