About:Chinese Embassy in Netherlands

I am Canadian. Should I get a double entry visa?

Hello,
I am a Canadian student living in Rotterdam. Can I apply at the embassy in den Hague for entry into Hong Kong and then into mainland China? I return to Netherlands from Hong Kong.

You needn't apply for a double entry as Hong Kong grants a 90-day free entry for Canadian passport holders. You can apply at the embassy in Hague for a single entry into mainland China.
