Are there any medical conditions which would restrict you from getting a work visa?

Yes, of course, if the examinee is found with diseases or disorders which may endanger public order or secuirty, such as cholera, venereal disease, yellow fever, opening lung tuberculosis, plague, AIDS, leprosy, psychosis and so on, it will be hard for him to get a work permit, which is required for the application of Z type.
