accommodation booking first? I will be applying for my china visa for a tourist soon.

Do i need to pre book hotels first and prove it with a copy of hotel confirmation ? or in the application can i just write down 2 address where i think i may stay and have not actual proof?

If you have friends in China, you can ask them to write you an invitation letter. In that case, you do not have to book hotel first. If you are not able to present the invitation letter, the hotel bookings are necessary for your application. Just writing down the address which you may stay is not accepted.
