I am flying with two different airlines.Will the luggage be checket all the way through to Vancouver?Will 1 hour 40 minutes be ebough tranfer time?

You can ask about your airlines whether they have luggage check-through service. If yes, it's not necessary for you recheck your luggage. Generally speaking, 100 minutes are enough for you to complete the transfer. But you are still suggested to hurry up.
