Beijing forbidden city to temple of heaven

if we exit from south gate, is therebany subway around there? cause we plan to go to temple of heaven afterwards

If you take the subway, you need to walk about .06 miles to the nearest Tiananmen East subway Station and transfer line 1 to line 5, which is so troublesome. You are suggested to take a taxi, about 2.4 miles far, and the cab fare is about CNY17.
