Gift to in-laws living in Shanghai

Mt wife and I are planning a trip to Shanghai to attend a wedding reception my in-laws are giving for the marriage of their daughter to my son. What would be an appropriate gift to give the in-laws?

Stan, I am a Chinese from a city in northwest part of China. We don't have this tradition that the groom's parents send gifts to the bride's parents. Usually, the groom or the bride send gifts to their parents-in-law. If you really want to bring some gifts, perfume, wine and cigarette are ok. My idea only.
