Stan, I am a Chinese from a city in northwest part of China. We don't have this tradition that the groom's parents send gifts to the bride's parents. Usually, the groom or the bride send gifts to their parents-in-law. If you really want to bring some gifts, perfume, wine and cigarette are ok. My idea only.
