About:Chengdu Travel

can we arrange a day trip to chengdu from shanghai to see the pandas?

we are arriving on may 1, 2015 and staying for a few days in Shanghai before starting our Viking land/cruise tour - according to Viking, we will not be near CD city on this trip. any thoughts?

You can take a flight to CD. It will take around 3 hours on the way. This transportation saves a lot of time. Then you can go to see the pandas in the rest time of the day.

Hi - I'm Carl from the US living in CD city. You may want to fly in the evening before and plan to visit the Panda Base early the next morning. The pandas are most active in the morning especially around 9am(ish) feeding time.
