About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

1/2-1 year with multiple entrances

I worked in Guangzhou for three years and held a Mainland residence which has expired on Dec, 15th. Currently I study in Hong Kong, but I would like to apply for a long term Chinese one, as I need to go to Guangzhou sometimes to see my partner's relatives or for some business purpose.

Do you think I have a chance to receive a 6months or 1 year one with multiple entrances? And which documents do I have to prepare?

I plan to apply in Wan Chai.

Thanks,
Marlene

I think there is a chance for you to get one with mutiple entries, but you still need to confirm it with the consular office at Wan Chai. Documents for you to prepare are: your valid passport and a photocopy of its phtoto page, a filled application form affixed with your recent photo, the original and photocopy of your residence card in Hong Kong, roundtrip ticket orders and hotel reservations or an official letter from your friends in China.
