About:Simatai Great Wall

Weather in March. is it advisable to hike the Wall then?

How is the weather and temperature there in Simatai and Badaling in March?

Noor, I went to visit Badaling once in mid March. It's still cold in Beijing. I remembered that I wore thick overcoat, scarf and warm underclothes. More importantly, it is windy on the wall. However, you won't feel cold after you climb the wall for a while. In my view, it's ok for you to hike the wall in March. The temperature is from 0 to 12 degrees celsius.
